Research Connections

The study contributed a more nuanced understanding of some important elements of the “mechanics” of constructing the substantive theory of meaning perspective transformation. These elements revolve around the notions of deconstruction and reconstruction seen above. Here, we see the loss of relevance and consequent deconstruction of an earlier meaning perspective, followed by the emergence and reconstruction of a new one from what remained. The exploration of the idea of triggers and the provision of trigger examples was also an important contribution of this study.
